The new SKB Hardtop solves this by combining the best of both worlds - the durability of a hard case, plus the convenience of a soft travel cover. For hard case club head protection, SKB made the top 18? of this bag from the topper of their Standard Hard Case. The bottom of the Hardtop is a soft-cover style bag. This means that the Hardcase can be collapsed down to about a 1/3 of the space that a full hard case requires - and can be stored neatly in the included compression bag. The soft sides make it a bit more flexible, great for packing in additional gear, and fitting it into the trunk.
