 Maclaren Mac 3 - Silver The Maclaren Mac 3 jogging stroller debuted this spring. And not a moment too soon! Out of the box, it took only a few minutes to put the wheels on, and another to put on the canopy (which requires a little force - good, because it would take force for it to come off). I honestly am having a hard time coming up with something negative about this stroller. While the solid, unique 12"" wheels aren't for the marathon runner or the beach walker, I wouldn't hesitate to take the Mac 3 just about everywhere. Generally, it does as good as any stroller on city bumps and curbs. The Mac 3 has won awards for the simplicity and ease with which it fold; in fact, it even folds down narrower than it stands (the Kelty does as well). The adjustable handle made running with my son (I'm 6'2"") painless on my back. The basket on the bottom pouch is big enough for a small diaper bag and the back pocket holds odds and ends like keys, wallet, and cell phone discreetly; a nice feature. The bottom line - this stroller is a great design and very attractive; above all a classy looking stroller. -- $299.99  |
